Shigeru Kawai SK6 Grand

This model is the first of three Shigeru Kawai’s built in the separate Ryuyo facility, which is in the beautiful Shigeru Kawai memorial garden on the main Kawai factory grounds. 
 
The SK6, SK7 and SK-EX concert grand are all built here by a single team of approximately 20 Master Piano Artisans. Although the inherent design is the same as the smaller models, there are some differences in hammers and a more concert orientated approach to the hand-building process. So the SK6 at 214cm will very successfully function as a performance or professional recording piano.
